HASC, an innovative Early Education Program located in Woodmere seeks a NY State Licensed Adaptive Physical Education Teacher or a Physical Education Teacher also certified in Special Education effective January 2024 for a Leave position. Experience with preschoolers and children K-4 a plus.

Responsibilities include:
– Adapt materials and instructional methodology to meet the individual goals of the students
– Support the curriculum of the classroom teacher and the language based environment
– Meet with each class using the school playground for instruction
– Plan and lead community-based learning based opportunities, as appropriate, and relating to the children’s learning needs and the classroom curriculum
