HASC, a premier special education school, is looking for a Part-time Speech Therapist to treat students in our School Age Program in Brooklyn. Candidates must possess a NYS Professional License. Experience with special education experience population is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• administer assessment procedures according to standardized or recommended techniques
• establish functional and attainable goals and objectives
• adapts assessment methods when usual procedures are not practical
• develops comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate IFSP/IEP goals and appropriate curriculum models
• maintains safe, neat and organized work environment
• understands impact of billing on program and works to maintain controls over cost

Requirements include: Appropriate NYS license/certification.
